Monaco Economic Board

For more than twenty years, the Monaco Economic Board (MEB) has built a formidable network of institutional and private partners—both high-caliber and diverse—that forms a cornerstone of its work.

- With more than 600 member companies spanning all sectors of activity, the MEB operates at the heart of Monaco’s business ecosystem. Thanks to its in-depth knowledge of these companies, the MEB fosters interactions, exchanges, and collaborations. This vibrant activity actively contributes to Monaco’s economic dynamism.

- The MEB serves as the Government’s operational arm for promoting and supporting the development of Monegasque businesses. It collaborates closely with the Government’s diplomatic and consular network, which is present in more than 150 countries. Within the Principality, it works continuously and in concert with the various entities involved in ensuring Monaco’s economic vitality and attractiveness.

- The MEB’s board is composed of various professional organizations in the Principality (Federation of Monegasque Enterprises, Monegasque Association of Financial Activities, Monaco Junior Chamber of Commerce, the Order of Certified Public Accountants of Monaco, the Union of Merchants and Artisans of Monaco, and the Monegasque Union of International Trading Companies). It also collaborates with other associations of entrepreneurs with international ties (Club of Monegasque Entrepreneurs in Africa, Sportello Italia, Monaco Brazil Invest Association, etc.). As a member of “Team Monaco” (an organization dedicated to promoting Monaco abroad), he works closely with many other highly valued partners.

- Chambers of commerce are our natural partners in organizing events dedicated to strengthening economic ties between Monegasque companies and the rest of the world. The Monaco Economic Board has signed nearly 40 cooperation agreements with such organizations during economic missions or when hosting foreign delegations. They are essential partners, particularly for organizing business matchmaking sessions.

- The member must be an organization authorized to conduct its professional activities in the Principality of Monaco, either as an individual or as a corporation.

- Membership becomes effective upon approval by the Association’s Board.

- The annual membership fee is €700 for the Classic plan and €1,400 for the Premium plan, which entitles you to the following services:

1. Participation for up to five people—instead of two under the Classic plan—in events and activities organized by the MEB (subject to availability)
2. Priority registration for all events and activities
3. Opportunity to participate in an exclusive annual event reserved solely for Premium members
4. Priority allocation for invitations that the MEB may distribute through one of its partners (events, trade shows, etc.)
5. Inclusion in the “Our Premium Companies” section of the MEB website. Each Premium member also has the opportunity to share news about their company on a dedicated page.

7. Support from our communications team in your interactions with local media

The Monaco Economic Board’s International Formalities Department issues and endorses various documents for companies in the Principality, enabling them to complete export formalities. These procedures have been gradually digitized on the dedicated online portal GEFI (Electronic Management of International Formalities), administered by the Paris Chamber of Commerce. Indeed, the territory of Monaco and the territory of France form a customs union. Export formalities are common to both countries. The MEB is therefore part of the network of French chambers of commerce for these types of services.

Monegasque companies wishing to log in to the portal for the first time or needing assistance with their procedures can schedule an appointment with the MEB using the contact information provided at the bottom of this page.

The department is available to companies in the Principality for various inquiries regarding exports and imports in general, export regulations, shipping and transport documents, goods inspection, accompanying documents for goods shipped to a third country, local and international contacts, applicable legislation, Incoterms, etc.
